A specialist secondary school based in Trafford which caters for students with ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and challenging behaviour are looking for psychology graduates to join their school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
To work alongside the class teacher and other members of staff to maintain a meaningful, supporting and secure learning environment
To be part of a classroom team, under the direction of the class teacher
To participate in team meetings, reporting on pupil performance
To support pupils with their personal and behavioural development.
The Ideal Candidate will:
Have experience working with children or young adults with Special Educational Needs
Have the ability to demonstrate the value of education whilst keeping the pupils safe
An up to date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service
Be positive, dedicated and resilient
Have a calm, patient and positive approach to your work and the ability to communicate well on all levels.
