Finance Assistant | Hybrid | Leeds City Centre | Study support | £27,000 A brilliant opportunity for a talented Finance Assistant to join a rapidly growing and innovative service company based in Central Leeds. This role offers the opportunity for you to gain valuable all round transactional accounting experience whilst working as part of a dynamic and high performing finance team.Working alongside a supportive and engaging finance leader, the role will be varied and fast paced. Here is a little bit about what you will be involved with: The Job: Purchase ledger: inputting invoices, matching to purchase orders, obtaining authorisation where necessary, coding to the system, reconciling supplier statements on a monthly basis, resolving any queries and batching ready for payment
Sales ledger: raising sales invoices on a monthly basis, allocating cash daily and chasing customers for any outstanding debts
Reconciling multiple bank statements daily
Processing accruals, prepayments analysis and reporting
Liaising and managing relationships with external stakeholders via phone and email
Preparing proposed payment runs and uploading payments onto the bank
Supporting the Finance Manager and management accountant to produce the monthly management accounts
The successful candidate will: Relevant experience within a finance role
Driven and motivated
Bright and personable with good communication skills
Ideally have experience of multiple entities
Strong communication skills – able to build relationships and work collaboratively
Organised and able to work accurately
Professional and engaging
