Key Responsibilities
Ensure that every guest has an excellent and memorable welcome and stay at the hotel, enjoying excellent service and hospitality
Assist guests with their luggage, ensuring the luggage arrives at the guest's bedroom in a timely manner, taking luggage to the guest's car and stored securely when necessary
Having a varied knowledge of the local area/Yorkshire, the ability to schedule arrangements for guests such as carriages, valet cleaning & route planning
Ensuring all guests' needs are exceeded at every opportunity
Moving furniture and setting up rooms for events when required, ensuring the hotels' 5-star standards are met
Ensuring the hotel lobby and surrounding areas are kept spotless, polishing reflective surfaces and ensuring they are dust free throughout
Maintaining the appearance, cleanliness and safety standards which are set out by management
Assisting in other areas of the hotel when needed
Ensuring that you stay proactive during less demanding periods
Must possess a polite etiquette
Must have impeccable grooming standards
