The Role
Working as part of a 2 Man Delivery team making multi-drop deliveries around the region, you will deliver solid pre-built furniture to customer’s properties, leaving the product in the customer’s Room of Choice. At all times you will represent our client’s brand with positivity, whilst following and maintaining health and safety procedures to ensure the safe and damage free delivery of customer orders.
You will work Monday to Friday, with shifts starting early and taking up to 12 hours to complete.
The Person
As a professional 3.5t driver, we take it as a given that you will have a good knowledge of EU Driving hours and be able to follow routes whilst maintaining a safe load. We are after people with a full driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor convictions.
What sets our delivery teams apart from the rest, is their dedication to customer service and to getting things right the first time. We expect all our drivers to have excellent customer skills, have a great attitude to all around them, and to have the honesty and integrity to admit when things go wrong. You will not be treated like a robot, so you must have the ability to assess difficult situations and self-manage them.
The main bulk of deliveries are made up of solid prebuilt furniture, so the ability to manoeuvre such products is a must.
