Purchase Ledger Clerk Role Overview
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will work as part of a busy finance team reporting into the Finance Manager. They are a growing organisation and you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and ensuring suppliers are paid on time.
Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger processing to include the Input, coding, scanning, and processing of invoices.
Preparation of weekly payment runs and dealing with suppliers as appropriate.
Processing of expenses and company credit card transactions
Resolving ledger queries and sundry transaction requests.
Preparation of daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Ad hoc duties as required.
Purchase Ledger Clerk Experience Required
Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger role
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work towards tight deadlines
Proficient IT / Excel skills
