We are currently searching for an internally biased Site Manager for a new build commercial scheme in West Bromwich. The role will see you taking the project from 1st fix onwards, overseeing fitout works, closing out snags and handing over your area of works. Key packages will include partitioning’s; fixtures & fittings and joinery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate finishing trades including painters, carpenters, tilers, and plasterers.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.
* Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of finishing tasks.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or deficiencies.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of finishing trades, techniques, and materials.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS are required.
