We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic client based in Tewkesbury and play a vital role in the smooth functioning of their warehouse operations. This is an immediate start for the right candidate, working Monday to Friday day shifts.
Responsibilities :
- Stock Management : Receiving, inspecting, and organising incoming stock, as well as conducting regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Loading and Unloading : Safely and efficiently loading and unloading delivery vehicles, adhering to proper handling and safety procedures.
- Quality Control : Inspecting products for any damages or defects and reporting any issues to the relevant departments.
- Warehouse Maintenance : Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and hazard-free to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaboration : Cooperating with team members and supervisors to optimise work-flow and achieve operational goals.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience) :
A valid Counterbalance or Reach FLT Licence is essential for this role.
- Physical Fitness : This role involves heavy lifting, so candidates must be physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
- Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in order processing and stock management.
- Reliability : Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential attributes for a Warehouse Operative.
