CREDIT CONTROLLER
Dewsbury – up to £28K depending on experience
Our client is looking for a Credit Controller to work at their established site based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
The main responsibilities of the Credit Control role are:-
* Responsible for maximising cash collection and minimising debts for 4000+ customer base
* Maintain debtor days within the company target
* Ensure current debts are collected within customer payment terms
* Any overdue debt is collected either internally or via enforcement agencies and court procedures
* Deal with queries and communicate with relevant parties (internal and external) to resolve
* Post and allocate customer cash received
* Process sales ledger invoices and upload to customer portals as required
* Administration of the credit held queue
* Maintenance of the customer base, new accounts, credit checks, references
* Covering holiday absence of accounts team
* Cash forecasting
The ideal Credit Controller would meet the following criteria:-
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role is essential
* Strong communication skills; ability to have challenging conversations
* Keeping up to date with new legislation
* Excellent time management skills (demonstrated with examples)
* Experience of working with 3rd party companies
