Summary of Role:
As an HR Generalist, you will have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation.
The HR Generalist role will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, with the main goal of ensuring the HR department’s operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the company as a whole. This role will support UK and European sites.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
Monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and processes and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
Informing employees of their rights and entitlement and keeping them up to date on any changes made
Support the recruitment process by attending interviews for potential candidates.
Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
Handling HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements
Dealing with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary
Partnering with line managers to review employee relations, performance management, resourcing, and staff management
Ensure the payroll file documents are ready with the required signatures to meet payroll deadlines
Undertake projects which will support the effectiveness of HR
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Essential
In-depth knowledge of current Employment Law
Efficient HR administration and people management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, and related HR software.
Ability to prioritise and organise workloads in a busy environment
Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Flexibility and ability to work off own initiative
Desirable
CIPD Qualified
Experience in an administration environment
Experience using WorkDay system
Travel Requirements:
The role is based at our Telford Site on a full-time basis
Occasional travel to the Newtown office when required
