The firm’s Commercial Litigation team is well regarded as international market leaders, with specialist expertise in providing advice on national and international disputes. They cover the full gamut of disputes, and the team is regularly acknowledged as leaders in their field by independent legal directories.
The Team
The team are experienced in the full spectrum of litigation, dispute resolution and regulatory issues. Their credibility is acknowledged by regulators and prosecutors for their efficient approach in resolving various disputes. They are also adept in handling breach of contract claims. Their arbitration team also regularly acts for client investment protection arbitration, join venture, and M&A disputes.
The Role
The role will see the candidate assisting on a broad range of clients (contractors, energy companies, government entities) on an array of disputes arising from a variety of sectors (from the financial services sector and the extractive industries).
Key areas of work include:
apply full knowledge of the law within your specialist area by identifying legal issues, drafting, and advising clients.
preventing, handling, and resolving high-quality, highly intricate disputes.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 PQE in leading litigation team in the UK. Our client is also very happy to consider top-tier lawyers from Australia or New Zealand with between 3-6 years PQE.
Also, the ideal candidate will have:
an excellent academic record;
can demonstrate a keen interest and enthusiasm to learn about the firms' clients' business;
excellent communication and relationship building skills; and
the ability to work independently whilst also being a team player.
