Salary: £27,203 - £29,444 pro rata per annum (SCP 19-22)
Contract: Temporary for 3 months
Work pattern: 5 days per week (can be flexible)
Location: Agile home-based worker, with some travel to Wheatley offices where required.

About the role
The role has a focus on administrative and secretarial support for a busy litigation team, particularly:
production of a range of legal documentation to ensure compliance with statutory provisions;
completing legal forms, power point presentations and other documents as required;
producing documentation to support legal cases in court, and dealing with telephone enquiries relating to the same;
producing lengthy documents from audio or copy typing;
updating and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems;
updating and maintaining electronic legal case management system;
opening and allocating public liability claims;
assisting with debt actions and Incidental applications;
managing multiple team in-boxes and allocating queries to members of the wider team;
providing regular statistical reports on behalf of the litigation team; and
processing invoices on behalf of the team and assisting with budget management.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will need to be organised, proactive and be able to multitask. The successful applicant will be adept at time management, proficient in juggling changing priorities and workloads and respond well to pressure.
Communications skills are essential in order to establish solid relationships with your colleagues quickly and provide effective support at all levels. You must also be able to demonstrate a flexible approach in meeting the changing demands and priorities of the Litigation Team and be able to effectively manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
Some legal knowledge and experience of working in a busy legal environment is desirable and advantageous. Accuracy and attention to detail are a priority.
