Liaise with consultants to deliver trade design packages accurately and on time.
Take part and Chair design and site team meetings.
Problem solving and decision making.
Working in coordination with the other departments (Build, Commercial, Customer Care)
Ability to coach and train junior and new team members in design processes and procedures.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE…
Previous demonstrable experience working for a Residential Developer or Main Contractor.
Experience in large scale construction projects.
Degree Level qualification or equivalent to; BSc Hons in Construction Management, BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management, HNC/HND/Degree in Construction Management or Architecture.
Professional Membership (MCIOB, ARB or Equivalent) is advantageous.
Ability to use Autocad or Revit is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Be able to work effectively in a team.
Good level of communication skills, with the necessity to liaise with internal staff and external bodies.
Be practical and methodical with good analytical skills.This is an excellent role with a growing and excelling Main Contractor, with further career progression opportunities provided and would suit someone who is currently in a Design Manager / Senior Technical Manager / Technical Manager role with a Residential Developer or a Main Contractor.
