Avenue recruitment are currently looking to expand our engineering team in Scotland, we have a vacancy for a new multi-skilled service engineer for one of our clients. Servicing/installation/commissioning/fault finding experience would be desired for this position. The desired candidate would come from a mechanical/electrical background and have worked in a similar position previously.
Geographical location Scotland including Island work.
Geographical location - Scotland.
Working location - Scotland.
Equipment - Water softeners/Reverse Osmosis/Iron filtration/PLC HMI/Pipework/Electrics.
Workload - Multi-skilled service engineer. Servicing/installation/commissioning/fault finding of all types of water filtration systems.
Experience preferred - Plant knowledge, Water treatment experience, Electrical, Plumbing, Chemistry (additional plant training will be given to the right candidate).
Salary will differ depending on experience.
Working hours/days? 10 hours door to door, 50 hours a week (5 days a week) some weekend work required due to the nature of the business (1 hour lunch). Overtime is paid 1.25 over 10 hours in the week, 1.5 Saturday 2 Sunday.
On call rota is 1 in 4 for a week, paid £100 to answer the phone then overtime paid to attend site if required with a £50 bonus also for attending.
A company van is provided with necessary equipment provided with stock and tools (Finalised after passing probation).
A company fuel and credit card will be supplied.
Additional benefits such as pension (after probation passed ), 25 days holiday a year increasing by 1 holiday for every year over 5 years capped at 30 days, commission bonus scheme, on-call bonus, Commission rewards.
