The Role
The Senior Network Security Engineer contributes to the delivery of standards and deployments of new network security designs, establishes best practices, and supports operational challenges or critical issues. They partner with other Senior Architecture leaders to align Security, Enterprises, Domain and Solution architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
The Security Engineer is responsible for identifying solutions which reduce network security risks identified by the Chief Information Security Office, Internal Audit or Regulators.
The Security engineer works together with the Network Deployment and Operations teams to engineer enterprise solutions which can be easily deployed and operated with automation as a priority.
The Security Engineer is responsible for testing and document the network security solutions before handing them over for Implementation.
Architecture, Design, Governance and continues Updates of external connectivity models, e.g. Ecommerce, Extranet, Exchange Connectivity, Cloud Connectivity
Responsible for the proxy infrastructure including life cycle management.
Perform Analysis and benchmarking of Network Security products. firewalls and proxy systems, etc.
Actively support the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture.
Must take ownership of projects and lead the project.
Your Profile
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Must have a strong knowledge of Firewall Engineering, based on Fortinet.
Must have very good experience in Proxy Engineering, based on McAfee.
Must have good experience with Router/Switch Platform Engineering for Network Devices (Extreme/Cisco/Arista).
Good to Have
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation desirable.
