A top-tier international firm is seeking a talented individual to join their prestigious Birmingham office as part of their Employment Law team.
Role Overview: As an Employment Associate, you will provide strategic employment law advice, handle complex tribunal claims, and work on cross-border issues, restructuring, and redundancies. Your expertise will be essential in managing senior-level grievances, including discrimination and whistleblowing complaints, and addressing senior executive and boardroom issues. Additionally, you will engage in high-value and High Court litigation and support our clients with M&A and outsourcing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, strategic employment law advice.
Manage complex employment tribunal claims and high-value litigation.
Handle cross-border employment issues, restructuring, and redundancies.
Address senior-level grievances, discrimination, and whistleblowing complaints.
Work closely with senior executives and board members on employment matters.
Support M&A and outsourcing projects, delivering innovative solutions.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of employment law experience in a commercial practice.
Strong technical knowledge and market insight.
Experience in strategic employment law advice and complex tribunal claims.
Exposure to cross-border issues, restructuring, and redundancies.
Proficiency in handling senior-level grievances, discrimination, and whistleblowing complaints.
High-value and High Court litigation experience is advantageous.
Strong academic background and technical proficiency.
Commercial awareness and understanding of large international firm operations.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
