Responsibilities:
* Lead a significant section of the project as the Site Agent.
* Support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence.
* Take full ownership and accountability for cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs and forecasts through commercial awareness.
* Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
* Identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
* Create a programme to plan and measure the day-to-day activities and medium term plan against the contract programme.
* Quality assurance in accordance with the specification.
What do we need from you?
* Relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience
* Chartered Member of the ICE (or working towards).
* Proven capability working on Network Rail projects, or in a comparable setting.
* Excellent communication and project management skills including leading and managing technical teams.
* Able to take the lead with client interfaces.
* Able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the outcomes in terms of quality, cost and programme.
* Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
