TEXO Recruitment are looking for an experienced Survey Technician to join one of our external clients on a permanent basis, working within their Technical & Operations division to support the Regional Technical & Operations Manager in achieving the overall team’s day to day objectives, based in Aberdeen.
Duties:
• Preparing and testing of equipment prior to rental and post hire.
• Function testing, software / firmware updates, cable integrity.
• Ensuring completeness of equipment against packing lists.
• Checking, inspecting, and documenting equipment returned from hire.
• Visual inspection, function testing and writing technical reports.
• Identification of in-house or external repair tasks.
• Preparing all assets to ensure they are ready for delivery to clients at short notice.
• General warehouse and delivery duties.
• Checking, inspecting and documenting equipment on mobilisation.
• Setup, interface, function test on mobilisation.
• Troubleshoot to successful conclusion.
• Assist offshore survey team as required.
• Demobilise, check, inspect and document equipment prior to dispatch back to base.
• Attend Offshore training and undergo an Offshore medical.
Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a team taking directions but also encouraging others to develop.
