Key Responsibilities:
Operate HGV Class 2 (tractor-trailers) in a safe and efficient manner.
Transport goods or materials to designated locations following prescribed routes and schedules.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, identifying and reporting any maintenance issues.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including hours of service regulations.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup of goods.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and vehicle operation.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vehicle and at delivery sites.
Qualifications:
Valid HGV Class 2 driver's license with no more than 3 points.
