My client is a 4* boutique hotel located in the Solihull area who is looking for a Sous Chef to join their lively kitchen team, bringing new ideas to their exceptional menu.

The duties and responsibilities of the Sous Chef will be:

Deputising the Head Chef when needed, assisting with leading and guiding the kitchen team in every service, maintaining a high consistent level throughout.

Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality

Training and developing the team, guiding them and helping them grow both professionally and personally.

Bringing new ideas and inspiration to the restaurant, banqueting & wedding menus

Provide a consistently high level of service and product delivery.

Controlling and managing stock

The ideal Sous Chef will:

Be approachable, organised and consistent.

Ideally will have cooked to rosette standard.

Be inspirational and creative.

Be reliable and hard working.

Due to location, candidate will need to drive or have access to their own transport.

Sous Chef Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35k per annum

Schedule: 45 hours, 5/7 days
