IT Service Desk Analyst

Huntingdon

Job Description 1st Line Support (3 Month Contract)

£14-£17 + Holiday pay and pension

St Ives

We are partnering with a tech/engineering organisation on the outskirts of St Ives who are looking to add a 1st Line Support Analyst to their growing IT Team on a 3-month temporary contract. There is potential for this to be extended or go permanent, however no guarantees can be made at this stage. Due to the location, candidates would need to drive.

This is not an entry level role, therefore candidates must have c2 years IT Support experience.

Working with the internal IT team, this is a great opportunity to increase your skillset further! Satisfaction to the end user is important, so excellent personable skills are required!

The Role:

Work through tickets, escalating when appropriate

Provide excellent 1st line IT Support

Windows 10, Active Directory, O365, Teams, networking

Hardware and software installs

PC and Laptop builds

What we are looking for?

2 + years experience in an IT Support role

Windows 7-10 support

Comfortable with Active Directory Admin

Personable, proactive and logical

Excellent communications skills

Within a commutable distance of St Ives (Cambridgeshire)

Due to the location, candidates would need to drive

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK – no sponsorship is available for this role. Unfortunately overseas candidates will not be considered.
