Buying Assistant

Our client is an exciting womenswear brand who have been successful in carving out a niche in the market. They have a strong brand ethos and identity, and they are on a strong growth trajectory.
They are looking for a Buying Assistant to come on board and join their team. This is a great role for someone with experience in the industry looking to continue their career in buying.
Providing support to the Buying Team, Key responsibilities include:
Administrative support to the Buying Team.
Developing costing sheets and ensure price changes and costings are kept up to date.
Manage all stages of the ordering process, including purchase orders, sample requests, sharing accurate trim and wash care information.
Establishing strong relationships with worldwide suppliers, acting as a liaison between them and the buying team.
Take ownership of the Critical Path, to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Provide the team with support in managing samples for photography, quality assessment, and showroom display.
We are looking for someone who has:
Meticulous time management skills with a highly organised mindset, demonstrating your ability to prioritise tasks, multitask and manage projects with deadlines.
A flexible approach to your work and the business, be a key team player and adapt as required with the ability to work well as part of a small growing team.
Experience within a similar role within womenswear clothing and be able to come in and hit the ground running.
Good communication skills, being able to effectively communicate across the business.
