Sales Manager
Leeds or Slough
£ 45000 - 50000/annum Plus bonus
We are looking for an experienced sales person with an events or rigging background. You will take on full responsibility for growing a particular product line and team. This role can be based in either Leeds or Slough.
This company has an excellent reputation and client base, this role is about building their brand awareness and increasing their market share. It's a very consultative sell and there's lots of opportunity for repeat business.
The client base is incredibly varied and so are the projects. This is an incredibly interesting sales role with the opportunity to get behind the scenes at some very well known events. The role is mainly office based, however you will have an opportunity to meet clients, complete demonstrations and attend trade shows.
Main duties to include;
Manage and grow the team, currently one other sales person
Build relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat orders
Seek out new business opportunities directly and through the team
Produce, deliver and follow up on quotations
Build relationships with internal departments and suppliers
Hire and train new sales people, ensuring growth and profitability of the department We are looking for;
Experience of working in a technical sales role, ideally in events or rigging equipment sales
Someone with previous management experience or someone who is ready to take a step up into a leadership role
Experience of LOLER legislation would be an advantage
Knowledge of hoist regulations is an advantage
Excellent communication skills and someone who can build relationships with a wide variety of customers Benefits include;
