The Construction Project Manager Role
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be deeply involved in the intricate stages of pre-construction and post-contract duties, while ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. You will act as an NEC Project Manager and Employer's Agent, handling contract administration, stakeholder management, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead pre-construction activities and manage programming and development appraisal.
Serve as NEC Project Manager and Employer's Agent.
Conduct contract administration, consultant procurement, and risk management.
Oversee shell monitoring, quality inspections, and landlord liaison.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure effective communication across all project phases.
Manage development from risk assessment through to project completion, focusing on Healthcare, Retail, or Public Sector projects.
The Construction Project Manager
BSc/MSc in Project Management or a construction related field.
Previous Project Management experience with a UK Construction Consultancy
Experience managing projects across Healthcare, Retail, or Public Sector is ideal
Strong understanding of NEC contracts and experience performing the role of Employer's Agent.
Proven track record of successful project delivery, managing all phases of construction projects.
