Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Management: Administer and manage contracts with a focus on the NEC (New Engineering Contract) suite, ensuring compliance and alignment with project objectives.
* Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks, providing proactive solutions to issues.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters, liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
* Contract Documentation: Prepare, review, and update contractual documents, including agreements, change orders, and notices.
* Dispute Resolution: Handle disputes efficiently, negotiating settlements in accordance with project goals and contractual terms.
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on contract performance and status to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years in contract or project management within large infrastructure projects.
* NEC Expertise: Proven experience with the NEC suite of contracts, particularly NEC3 and NEC4.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
* Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Software Proficiency: Familiarity with contract management software and standard office applications.
Preferred Attributes:
* Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for detail and thorough understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
* Proactive: Ability to foresee potential issues and address them before they impact the project.
* Flexible: Adaptable to changing project needs and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
