You will oversee all marketing, e-commerce and PR related tasks within this independent hotel.
Execute and deliver a plan with a strategic focus on guest experience, revenue generation and achieving commercial results for our owners.

Role Responsibilities
As our Marketing Manager, you will join a commercial team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do! In this role, you will:
Work closely with both internal stakeholders and external parties to manage, facilitate, and coordinate all aspects of hotel marketing and content for the online channels.
Collaborate with the Focus Commercial team, Hotel General Manager, Director of Sales, Hotel Revenue Manager, partner agencies and relevant stakeholders in developing the strategic marketing plan for all retail outlets of the hotel.
Identify opportunities to drive creativity, innovation and growth within the hotels marketing strategy to grow the hotel audience and stand out from competitors.
Ensure that data capture is obtained at every touch point, managing of the hotels database and email marketing strategy.
Execute customer-facing B2B and B2C promotions and communications effectively and efficiently across all relevant offline and online channels in accordance with the annual hotel commercial plan and content calendar.
Work with our external digital marketing partners to manage monthly and seasonal strategies and campaign delivery.
Ensure that the hotel website is well-maintained, with offers, content and news kept up-to-date.
Support the hotel commercial teams in providing relevant hotel offers, content and marketing messages for ongoing communications.
Develop and maintain ongoing commercial relationships with external strategic travel and non-travel partners in local markets.
Manage the hotel marketing budget, working closely with the hotel General Manager, Focus Marketing Manager and Focus Commercial Director.
Review of SEO and paid advertising management.
Track, measure and report productivity of specific hotel marketing campaigns and initiatives to establish ROI, local brand impact and effectiveness.
Source and manage award entries, competition management, PR and communications.
Support hotel commercial team in organising promotional events such as trade shows and ensuring the prompt delivery of materials and products by coordinating with team members.
Work with the hotel Director of Sales to coordinate Fam trips and press visit management.
Work with the Hotel Revenue Manager to manage content for OTA and 3rd party listing management.
Understand, champion and promote The Bedford Hotel brand values.
You have
Considerable practical working experience in a marketing role in a hotel environment or related industry.
Experience in developing comprehensive marketing strategies in a hospitality environment, from audience and competitor analysis to recommended tactics and actions.
A thorough understanding of key social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X) to attract various target audiences, including paid advertising.
Experience in MS office applications, digital platforms, content management systems, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe CS, Lightroom and iMovie.
The ability to work both independently and within a team.
Sound knowledge of online and offline marketing techniques.
Experience in copywriting and content management for both offline and online channels.
Knowledge of WordPress and other website software, as well as SEO best practices.
