Description

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Maintain financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments

Preparing and sending invoices and receipts to debtors

Processing payroll and maintaining employee records

Checking and correcting accounting errors and posting business transaction details to subsidiary books

Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records

Interacting with external auditors during audits

Ensuring compliance with all internal processes

Preparing financial reports for management when needed

Prepare VAT return

Assist with management accounts

Produce balance sheet reconciliations

Chasing payments

Profile

You will need:

Experience in a similar role

Proficiency in accounting software

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures

Ability to do up to trial balance

Excellent mathematical skills

Resilient and adaptable

Happy to work autonomously

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Offer

c. £30,000 pa

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Office based role, in Selly Oak
