Role Overview:

As the KS5 Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the academic and pastoral support for students in Key Stage 5. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, guiding students through their A-level studies, and preparing them for further education and career opportunities. This role requires a dynamic and innovative educator with strong leadership skills and a passion for student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the KS5 provision, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and the latest educational standards.

Monitor and support the academic progress and wellbeing of KS5 students.

Provide guidance and support for students' university applications and career planning.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the school.

Organize and oversee KS5-related events, including open days, parent evenings, and extra-curricular activities.

Maintain effective communication with parents, students, and staff regarding KS5 matters.

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.

Proven experience teaching at the KS5 level, with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
