Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Early Intervention Service (EIS)
Band: 6
Location: Birmingham
Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £26 per hour
A Day in the Life of a Community Psychiatric Nurse
As a community-focused mental health nurse, you'll be a cornerstone of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Visits: Regular community visits to ensure patient needs are met and provide ongoing support.
Medication Administration: Timely administration of medication, ensuring patients receive their treatment as prescribed.
Patient Interaction: Engaging with patients to understand their conditions, offering tailored support, and monitoring progress or setbacks.
Risk Assessments: Conducting risk assessments to ensure patient safety and mitigate any potential dangers.
What We’re Looking For:
Active NMC Registration: Must be a registered mental health nurse.
Community Experience: Proven experience in community healthcare.
Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities and a knack for working under pressure.
Team and Solo Work: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to Care: A dedication to providing top-notch care for your patients.
