BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPMO)team, reporting to the People and Governanece Manager. You will be working on various portfolios focusing on people and processes. The position will involve a mixture of working from home, and can be based at any UK&I Regional office location. BAM Operate a flexible working policy.
Your mission
• Accountable for understanding and ensuring delivery of the business needs
• Ensure all requirements have been elicited from the business and are prioritised accordingly
• Support feasibility studies to ensure the correct design and delivery decisions are made
• Responsible for understanding and conveying the business needs through a variety of techniques
• Own full traceability of requirements, business benefits and testing to delivery
• Understand and map out current and proposed processes, frameworks or people initiatives
• Ensure all required data is captured and perform detailed analysis to drive the project team delivery
• Deliver detailed specification documents for both technical and business needs
• Support in the delivery assurance
• Focal point between the business and project team to ensure successful delivery of the proposed design
Who are we looking for?
• Able to create and maintain great relationships with stakeholders
• Will have an excellent analytical background, be a problem solver and have excellent illustrative and communication skills
• Will quickly assimilate and understand service-related issues across functions, and their possible impact on business development and operational service delivery.
• A proven ability to lead and run workshops and meetings with a range of
professionals.
• Proven process mapping and facilitation skills.
• Will be able to use a wide range of tools and techniques to map processes - ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ in a way that is flexible and tailored on the customer and the environment.
• Will be able to think laterally and develop and review design solutions for a variety of problems.
• Demonstrate ability to present information in a structured way appropriate to the needs of the audience
